My father was a good man who was loved by all who knew him; He enjoyed life to the fullest and he played an important part in my world and after his passing in March 07 my life changed drastically. Though my father was with Jesus in “Glory”, I experienced this tremendous pain of grief.

Now that Daddy was gone there was this big empty void to deal with. The Heavenly Father began to speak to me through it. Though there was the absence of my earthly father there would never be one with my heavenly Father. I’ve realized more than ever the Lord’s love for me. That He was there all the time and is there all the time for me and He doesn’t want anything to stand between us.

Whatever we are backed up against today, death, difficult people, disease, debt, deadlines, or depression God is there for you and He has what you need; He has a plan, a way of escape. I Corinthians 10:13 “God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it”.

Many people in their toughest hour search for answers and rescue. They experience such despair and slip into hopelessness but a personal relationship with Jesus before tragedy comes your way will prepare you with comfort to help you cope and the encouragement to push you forward.

Joel 2:25-27, “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten-and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you: never again will my people be shamed”.
